The size of the new PYRO 800 is already impressive: an outer diameter of 63 mm and a shaft
diameter of 8 mm give an idea of the enormous power of the latest KONTRONIK engine.
The PYRO 800 shines with a new design: large ball bearings and a stable bell support are
designed for powers above 5 kW. With the 8mm shaft, the new PYRO is optimally designed
for large 800 class helicopters, as well as Scale and 3D helicopters. Two engine versions are available with the PYRO 800-40 and the PYRO 800-48.
The new series is complemented by the 850-24, which has been optimally designed for
F3A applications. With the same diameter as the PYRO 800, the PYRO 850 is
characterized by a 5mm longer stator.
